California Bound!

Hey everyone! We are heading to California this afternoon for a training camp and University Tour! From California we will then head to Arizona for training at Arizona State University. 10 days of training, games, and hopefully a little bit of sun!

McGill Rotaract Event

Last night our girls attended an event held by McGill Rotaract to raise funds for the Tyndale Community Center in Little Burgundy in Montreal.  The event was held at the beautiful AKA gallery on St. Paul street in the Old Port of Montreal.  We were very fortunate to be invited to this wonderful event.  We met many charitable people who are having a very positive impact on our community. We were also lucky enough to witness the talents of the McGill Acapella team, a wonderful trumpet player, and a wonderful speech given by our very own captain Krystina Alogbo.  Krystina gave a very compelling speech about her personal journey, and the adversity that she has overcome to get her to where she is today.  We are very proud of her.
Thank you to McGill Rotaract, the AKA gallery, the Tyndale Community Center, and all the volunteers and organizers.  We look forward to meeting you all again soon.

Tyndale Community Center

This Saturday, January 15th at 7pm, we will be attending a cocktail party held by McGill Rotaract. The party will serve as a fundraiser for the Tyndale Community Center in Little Burgundy in Montreal. Krystina Alogbo will be giving a speech! Canada wins the Bronze at Canada Cup

Canada wins the Bronze medal at the 2010 Canada Cup, beating Italy 16-9. Christine Robinson is named tournament "Most Valuable Defender". Great job ladies!

Canada loses the Semi-Final Game

Canada loses to China 10-9 in the last seconds of overtime. Canada will play Italy tomorrow in the Bronze medal game at 11am.
